Project Q&A Coordinators

Project Q&A Inc is the leading 501(c)(3) organization working to educate, empower, and raise visibility for the 2.9 million LGBTQ+ individuals who call rural America home. We invite volunteers over 18 to help us build, live, and grow! Our coordinators manage our key communication, programs, and outreach. They help us educate rural communities on queer issues. Our coordinators empower queer individuals and our allies to create sustainable change in rural communities, and through everything they do, they raise visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community in parts of our country that is slow towards change.
Before applying, please look at the description of the position you are applying for and adapt your statement to fit that position. All positions listed will remain open until filled. Please submit this form to Project Q&A to receive consideration for a coordinator volunteer position. You may direct any questions you may have to Project Q&A’s Executive Director, Brandon West, brandon@projectqna.org.

After we receive your application, we will contact you and arrange for a short interview by Zoom. All information on this form will be kept confidential. Please be advised that, since we work with a vulnerable population, we may require a criminal background check for some positions. We will advise how this may be done most efficiently.

Become a Board Member

Project Q&A is beginning an exciting new phase in our grassroots efforts to make small towns safer for LGBTQ individuals. We are the leading nonprofit organization working to educate, empower, and raise visibility for the over 2.9 million LGBTQIA+ individuals who call rural America home. Over the past seven years, we have been building programs and helping create inclusive communities. As we have grown, so have our needs. We are looking to fill Board of Director positions to ensure that our mission is being met and that we reflect the communities we serve.

This exciting restructure of Project Q&A will allow us to build our infrastructure and ensure we meet the needs of rural queer communities. We need influential leaders like yourself to serve on our Board of Directors to achieve our goals. Your unique skills, talents, and connections make you an excellent candidate for our board.

Now more than ever, the LGBTQ community needs strong leadership and presence in all communities, especially in rural areas of our country. We would be honored to have you serve on our board. Board members’ terms outlined in the by-laws are two years, with monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of the Month at 6:30 PM via Zoom. I look forward to discussing this opportunity with you further and working with you to ensure that LGBTQ individuals in rural America are empowered to live their authentic lives in safe environments.
